hi,
ive got a calibra 16v 2ltr took it out last night and the battery light came on and the lights dimmed, so i drove the car home and as soon as i switched off the engine and tryed to restart it, it was dead. I bought a new battery and fitted it this morning and it started first time but the battery light is still on. any ideas wots up wiv it? cheers

alternator..u need not of even bought a new battery. if the light is on it means the alternator is not charging the battery which means its dud
new alternator im afraid

could of saved ureself a battery
u not take it back??? u will need the money towards alternator

www.clubcalibra.com join at your peril mate im a fellow eco owner and the advice there is priceless. Ive not had the alternator problem but maybe your belt just needs tightenin' ??
