the calibra fronts go straight in, the rears tho you have to take off the material on the corsa rear seats and put the calibra leather on2 it, which takes about 15mins, so yeeh it goes in piss!

There is loads of nice seats down at your local breakers yards, i have been twice in the last few weeks and seen atleast 4 decent sets of vauxhall leathers for a good price (calibra and vectra). I only didn't get them because i was worried they would be too much a squeeze into the corsa (measured and the runers are a few inches too big in both directions) but if someone says they go in, next time i am down i will purchase.

Vectra seats aren't a lot of good in a three door Corsa 'cos the seats don't tilt.
You don't use the subframe on the Calibra seats, unbolt it and bolt the seat to the Corsa subframe, its a straight swap. Calibra seats are wider than the Corsa ones and may press lightly against the doorpocket but thats not a problem.

Anyone tried it with other brand seats like BMW or MG that kinda thing. Would they be just as straight forward as swapping the subframes?

Been looking for leather for my corsa C for ages, and seen some nicely priced sets around.

Cheers

Ive got calibra front and back seats, the back seat was too wide but got it to fit, only thing is my seat doesnt fold down, it could be possible to get to fold but there was no point as my boot is full of ice anyway, as for the door cards they are re-trimmed in black viynal few pics below.

If they don't fit straight on, it shouldn't be too dificult to get 'em to fit. Make sure your ok for the width though.

MattyB :: Peel'd back the leather, shopped about 4 inches off the metal and folded the leather back over, then both parts of the back rest got mounted to 1 sheet of mdf then fitted with brackets, the bottom bit just went straight in, and yes door cards were done at home.
