Hi
Its not my car its a friends but when she is driving along its fine but sometimes when she comes to a stop the engine management light comes on and the car cuts out. She has to wait a few seconds before she can start again.
The cars been on a computer but no fault found.
Does anyone know what it could be?
Thanks
Mark

Speed sensor in the speedo head. Have you taken the clocks out recently?
I did and it disrupted the sensor. Caused my car to cut out at junctions and when in neutral. Mine also didn't show a fault code at first.
And if it is that then get one from a scrappy as Vauxhall cahrge £130

mines doing this after the speedo cable snapped, also was told to check all the fuses were ok, and as neilrocks said it could be the speed sensor in the speedo.
