Fitted it this morning, only took about 45 mins, wasn't as difficult as I thought. Could do with buying a Vectra / Astra surround as the Cav surround isn't a perfect colour match

Bought the lot for £29 off eBay, but you can get one from a scrappy if you want, look for a high spec Cav / Astra / Vectra
All you really need is the motor, switch , surround and wiring. There's a good guide in the tutiorials and an artical in Total Vaux one month, both were really helpful

the mk3 surround looks much more smoother and rounder and is the same colour as the origional corsa one (not brown like that one pictured)

dont know the number mate. just ask them at the parts counter, then they can search on the computer. thats what i did.
all the motors are the same so any vauxhall with a eleccy sunroof will be allright. but the pannels are different shapes.
BTW dont be asking for any electric sunroof parts for a CORSA. as there are no such parts, because vauxhall never made the corsa with an eleccy sunroof, even tho all the holes and screw holes are there.
just take a positive feed off the interior light to power the motor and attatch the negative to the chassis (roof)

if anyone wants these parts, let me know (U2U me), i will be able to source a good motor and a brand new pannel for you, with all the switches, wires etc etc.

right, pannels i can get for £7 brand new, and a stripped and rebuilt motor for around £20 from a mate of mine who works at a garage that specialises in vauxhalls (if i can get them cheeper - as i did with mine - cost me £4!!!!!) then i will let you have it at the price i get it for.
i'm gonna go down to the scrappy tomorrow and take out all the elecy motors from the cavs and senators

The electric sunroof should be wired through to a 20amp fuse - there's a spot for it in the fuse box!
Don't take the feed from the interior light, just wire some new power cable in.
Out of interest, did you use the spacer plate between the motor and the underside of the roof?
The plate with mine was slightly too thick and I couldn't get "bit" on the spindle, but without the plate it's too far in and slips every now and then
Going to re-do it this year if I can be bothered...
