are/is the exhaust lower manifold and cat the same?

as i need a gsi cat and wondered if a sport one will fit

also if i fitted a mpi fuel pump to my spi engine would it damage anything?
coz i need to test if the pump works but itll be a fair few weks berfore i fitted and got my new engine running

yup but i need to know if the exhaust amnifolds and cat are the same??
as i have a engien but no cat i need a cat

exhaust manifolds are different on the early gsi. the sport has the secondary air pump thingy mounted in it. cats are the same i think as the de cat pipe ive got fitted my gsi and sport

yes they are im getting a mpi gsi engine
i have a
spi engine
im getting a mpi fuel pump for my mpi gsi engine
i want to make sure this pump is ok by running it on my spi engine but before i do this i want to make sure its not gonna damage anything?

Pump will be fine. Fuel pressure regulator will control the flow.
