Changing the engine this week from a GSI to a 2.0l 16v what would people reccomend as a good suspension, bearing in mind that the engine will be a little heavier than the GSI it should drop it a little further so looking at maybe a 60mm drop on the front, just going to get the front done for now to spread the cost whats peoples thoughts many thanks Paul...

then id go for a 40mm drop on springs, then engine should lower the front another 5mm

Blisten are apparently the don of springs, go for them, just over £100 i think

then when u get some more money, get some adjustable shox from say koni

oh and do the same to the front arches as to what u done the back ones

I would have if PVD would get round to sending them

I've got Apex springs and shocks on at the mo and the handling is just adequate really, its okay but I think they are a bit too soft to cope with the extra weight.

eibach -30mm and koni adjustables. good handling but a little bouncy with the 1.4 in (lowest koni setting f&r), should be smoother with the valver in . goin in a few weeks hopefully.

I advise people to run 320Lb coilover springs, I have Spax RSX which comes with 275lb as standard but personally I'd want a little harder for the valver.

I'd go with Eibach, if you can only afford springs get 50mm, if you can afford a full kit it'll be great
