nope, u could keep up with the micras + ka'z but they'll have the edge to 60mph.
but eventually the extra cc will count at higher speeds i would reckon

I all obviously depends how your driving it and how the other car is being driven.
I've taken many bigger cars from the lights in my 1.2 16v

Your best bet is to fit wide wheels with good rubber and get some sports suspention. This way when you do get to 60 you shouldent have to slow down again for corners and hnce beat your apponent!
trust me it works i only have a 1.2 sxi and love dusting bigger cars on country lanes

like what exactly? In bigger, do you mean engine capacity or literal size, i.e, a ford galaxy or renault espace?

Like my mates cars which include a 1.8 mrk4 golf, a 1.8 mrk4 astra and a 1.6 escort si. On the motorway i have absolutly no chance but through some of trafford park and lymm where the roads twist a bit i leave em for shit. Its Great!!. imagine being dusted by a 1.2 16v hahahahaha
trouble is its only a matter of time before i come unstuck.

What 1.4 Corsa only has 60bhp?
My 1.2 16v has 65bhp and it's so slow it's depressing

dav, the 1.4 8v SPi engines have got 60bhp...
The 8v has better low down torque then the 16v models (pulling off lights etc), but top end and mid range power the extra valves help and give the 16v the edge.

Its just that Corsa B handling is REALLY REALLY shit. All those cars you talk about have far superior handling.
