no you cant
Easiest way, would be to wack a switch on it and connect it to 12v, off a light or something Also, speakers work on AC, rest of car DC...and a speaker output doesnt have lots of volts, it has lots of power instead So it wouldnt work, plus you'll prolly blow something up.

this is a long shot, but i think that hes got an old headunit which doesnt have RCA's and remote lead out, and his amp has high inputs in (speaker wires) so hes connected it that way and wants to switch on the amps
Btw mate, if this is the case, you can use the electric arial connection on the headunit, that does the same job as a remote lead. Just test it first with a multi-meter to make sure its 12v and is about 500mA
Otherwise, im just guessing he wants to switch on his amps to make sure they work, i dunnnoo

so i can stick the rear cables into the amp to have that running the bass and leave the fronts running treble throught me standard head unit.
the speaker cable will be going throught the high input.
