am hopefully buying a 1.4 16v engine to put into my corsa the engine is from a 96 corsa and mine is a 97 1.0 will it just be a straight swap of engine gearbox etc or are there any difficuiltys i might run into
will the exhaust systems mate up
do the looms just plug together or is rewiring involved
how will the pas work out as i think mine may have electric power steering
and i presume all the fuel lines and radiator pipes are the same
all advice and tips greatly appreciated

You will need an exhaust and manifold off another corsa other than a 1.0 12v. Manifold is totally wrong and exhaust bore is smaller on the 1.0

yes as you only have 3 cylinders at mo and will have 4 you will need a new manifold and exhaust

i know about the manifold bt will the 1.4 manifold mate up to my cat etc

The CAT in a 1.0 12v is in the engne bay and the 1.4 16v isn't... also your 12v cat will have small diameter pipes on it... I think you will need a whole exhaust system and a 1.4 16v cat.
