Look at the recent pics of my car, 40mm Apex drop it around 45 - 50 i'd say. They're not a bad price either Eibach drop it 30mm but when you look at people with Eibach on corsa C it hardly looks lowered at all.

FAO all you with lowered cars, have you just gone for springs, doesnt it bother you what might happen if you hit a pot hole ?? I cant decide between not lowering, using springs or a full kit ......

but surely any springs that are lower than the intended factory design for the shockers is dangerous ? I aint making a point here, well actually i am, but I hate the thought of strain on components thats all. My bearings must already be under strain with my 17's etc... do you see what I'm gettin at ?

Yeh, but you're dampers are always being stressed when you hit bumps and stuff, lowering on them just makes the stress more.

at the beginning...
-standard suspension. it wasn't that bad, a bit wobbly going into corners etc. but you'd expect that. wasn't low enough.
-lowering springs with standard shocks. made my car look lower and handle better than standard. but still a bit too wobbly for my likings.
-koni adjustables with lowering springs. handling of car improved by a lot. car felt a lot more composed and steady. depending on how much you adjust the shocks, you can have soft or hard.
-coilovers. dropped car on its arse. looks good, but scrubs like a bitch. handling is similar to koni shocks when konis are set on soft. comfortable ride.
my opinion...
save up for coilovers. you'll only want to get them in the future so you may as well get them now. overall thumbs up from me
hope this helps peeps

that is my point exactly, more stress on other components, includingI imagine bushes, suspension arms and anti-roll bar ...... ? Despite this, ill still prob get it done though !! I drive a calibra myself
