Tried redex before or somethin. took out the spark plugs and squirted it in there, and then added the rest into the fuel. Is this the same stuff?
I was thinking of replacing the head gasket soon cos the cars gone about 40,000 miles on this one. all of which i proudly put on myself., hee hee.

right the gunk will be condensation as the oil warms up. Mine does this every winter and disappears when weather gets warmer. u get loads of gunk if u only do short runs

whitter hit the nail on the head - take it out for a long hard run to burn off the condensation
also, there is no point changing a head gasket just because its done 40k
if your in doubt about the gasket then just get a compression test done
