Hi peeps
got me car back today like fully kitted out only drove abt 10 min down road and i was parked up and me cooling fan came on to cool rad down  i was like wat was that noise lol me temp gauge didnt show anything on there i got a delta evo no grill bumper see and u think aslong as it comes on automatic shudnt b anything to worry abt is it???
Opnions please peeps

The automatic fan comes on too cool the car and the bonnet is a bit hot is this normal as long as the fan comes on its ok then>??? :boogle:

well 1st time the car was out in month long run down road areound 15 min the fan came on temp gauge didnt show anything but i got loads of room between the rad and bumper so i know there is air getting in, i aint got no vents in bonnet and the air filter pipe has been extented to the mesh bit so air can go in tha bonnet is quite hot but not boiling fan came on after a run but aslong as thats coming on there nothing to worry abt is it??

15mins after a run i would expect it to come on, its normal, and its what its there for, dont worry bout it mate

coz i had normal standard bumper b4 i never heard it mate like as air was flowing straight into it but now i got full kit i got it on like comes on wen iam usually out and abt or parked up with engine running but hope it b ok wat u think guys dont want to bugger me engine up???

mine did this this wen i fited that bumper, it had serious overheating probs, and blew head gasket. bcoz no grill=no air. iv cut two small slats in2 mine and fitted a cooler running stat

Best thing was to buy the f.bumper with the grill, smoothing the number plate recess which looks just as good and comes with less probs hats wot im gettin'

i had that engine in my last corsa. Once it was warm the fan used to cut in after 4-5 mins of sitting idling which used to piss me off in heavy traffic cos it used to shake the whole car and was noisy as fcuk! new one has nice quiet electric fan!

your front bumper came with three or four holes in the numba plate recess din't it? maybe they were there 2 help the air intake.Ive looked in your garage n u've got a flushed boot,how do you open it?

nah matey it didnt i can get it done though no props i open the boot by getting in back off boot and opening it lol no solenoid off yet
