over the past year i have noticed a weird sort of non-continous knock sound or like a little bang come from under the front driver side of car??
its gotten worse since i had the engine serviced and all belts n gaskets changed, also had 2lire brakes fitted if it makes any difference, all about a month ago?
it only happens wen i go over rough, bumpy roads or wen the car is at a tilt???
any ideas???

I can tell you what its most likely to be fella it happened on 2of my corsas and my nova where the front lower trailing arm bolts onto the hub and anti roll bar theres two bolts on each side these can come loose and cause a noise like the one you described try tightening these first before spending money on new shockers

if u feel it through the brake then there must be some sort of play in ure running gear i.e like born corsa said the trailing arm or anti roll bar

When I got new brake discs I got this problem.
Turned out it was my wheel bearings hadn't been tightened on enough and the wheels was actaully loose and shaking
A half turn made all the difference.

ok cheers for help everyone,
im pretty sure its not the wheel bearings coz i tightend each wheel my self
so it could be one of the following,
- shock absorber
- craddle bolt
- 2 loose bolts on each side were trailing arm bolts onto hub and anti roll bars
i think it most likely to be the last one because thats only one that can cause the pedal to vibrate
