howdies all,
was looking at my hifi and i have two power amps for each speaker (all controlled from one pre amp) and im curious, is this possible with mono blocks? eg: one channel has its own mono block

Would there be any advantage, like with hifis? - better quality of sound etc

tar all

If u get an old set of speakers and hook em to a mono block u wud no straight away that those amps r not built to power full range speakers, lol.

Some1's probably gonna say u wil damage ya amp from doin that now tho, lol.

As they r only a single channel as Ritchie says they hav (well mine does) a permanent low pass filter

ok coollio lads
i didnt think about the lpf although, would there still be any advantage to having a serperate amp for each channel? Im probably thinking there wont be, but in terms of hifi's, having seperate power amps for each channel is a BIG advantage and provides better power response onto of overall better quality of sound/signal

Ok, cheers all
Dom
