i have the two retaining clips out..... then what?

if you've removed the circlips, you should just be able to tap the piston pin out

you need to press them out with a hydraulic press and then to get them back in you need to heat them till there red hot and put back in, the called interference fit meaning the pin is very slightly bigger than the hole
