Just want an opinion to see if I am being totally ripped off or not
I am just over 2months into my policy and paid £1020 Fully Comp
I want to put 17's on my car, colour code it, and put an aftermarket grille on my 2002 SXi
Tesco want an extra £225.75 for this
If I want to add a full cat back system, and induction kit, they want £344.44 in total
Am I being ripped off???
Any comment welcome

dunno what tesco r like, but i was paying £530 full comp on std corsa, once i put my bodykit, alloys, sound system, back box and induction kit went up to £730, fully comp thats with norwich union, i am 19 with pass plus

im not sure what to declare yet, its been clour coded,taken rubstips off,k n N,and planning full ss system with manifold and alloys!
i got a quote tpft for £980 garaged low crime area, if i declare that lot will it go through the roof???

im 19, with norwich union, 2yrs no claims with a 2004 sri, mods declared yesterday were apex40mm, 17's mille miglia t12's, steiny grill, tints, powerflow exhaust and centre section removed, stereo..they charged me £250, i dont mind tho, wld rather b truthful n let em know about everything

Im with Liverpool Victoria, got 1.4 16V civic, 17's, lowered 40mm, stainless system, induction kit, headunit, components, 6x9s, sub and amp, wings west body kit etc £1350.

liverpool vic didnt charge me anything for my extras, ive got everything listed kit, rims etc... didnt cost me a penny, i got prove from them that its all on there too.
£628 a year fully comp.

im 17 getting a 1.2 sxi got 16s , suspension , zaust stieny grill and lexus lights, im trying to find an insurer to go with tesco is cheapest at 1700, my dad was thinking of insuring it with liv vic and me going on as a named driver so i wouldnt have to pay 300 + for mods

lol @ 3 modifications, I have everything declared and in writing, the call centre staff there crack me up, they didnt know what i was on about with my exhaust! he kept me on hold too when I told em about lowering 40mm on apex, then came back and said ahhh you have lowered suspension? lol

i kno what u mean matey, i rang mine and said im adding a new back box, and she was like whats that, is it somethin to do with the exhaust  i jus said its a new silencer and she put it down as that

Thats alot of £'s I just got my new insurance £237 Fully comp. Thats a 1.4 corsa with new front and rear bumper, lowered, 15" alloys, exhaust think thats about it.
