ive lowered my corsa C 40mm on apex springs, put 17s on it and then fitted adjustable camber bolts to pull my wheels str8. now im having serious rubbing issues with the front arches. the plastic inner wheel arch bit just inside the arch on the front of a corsa C, can i just remove it? cut it out? replace it with sumthing? should i get them rolled proffesionally? wots everyone else done to solve this problem? does anyone else scrape here? anyone got any solutions? all help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated! cheers.

best bet is to just cut away the metal under the plastic arch trim mate. wot offset are your wheels by the way?

they're ET 42. its the plastic thats catching like crazy. theres a plastic lip just inside the corsas arch behind the outer plastic arch. theres 2 bolts there aswell. its shredding this plastic quite badly now and i need to do something about it!

it doesnt help that i live in a shitty farming area where the roads arent the smoothest in the country! most of them are left to fall apart so that might have something to do with it! i dunno... the adjustable camber bolts made a lot of difference to scraping because they pulled the top of the wheel out slightly. may have had quite a lot 2 do with it aswell....

the camber of a wheel should be around 1 degree inwards at the top. the further u lower a car the further in ure wheels sit. mine after lowering were 2.25 degrees in before i got the camber bolts, theyre now 1 degree in. as they should be again!

petes can go loads lower at the front, but as i am finding out its not at all practical.....
Ideally wheels shud have a slight camber but not much, if u lower the car, then setting it back to factory camber amount will push the top out a small bit.
My wheels camber is way of, one is -1.7 deg the other is - 2.5 deg. Im having it sorted tommorow on my corsa b and then having the archs made larger at the bodyshop.
