Right. Some cock (..me) tried spraying several interior trim parts in Rover Silver Birch and to be honest....most of the parts look like a pile of shit.
I've got a few interior-based questions, so if anyone can help...great:
1) Is there a guide to getting the dash bits n pieces out?
2) If not...
a)how do you take the air conditioning vent trim units out (the ones like the one to the right of the steering wheel)
b)how do you take out the plastic dash surround? (when I tried..i removed all the screws I thought necessary but the center wouldnt budge from behind the steering column..)
c)how do you remove and re-insert the digital clock surround? (above the center console)
3)What grit wet n'dry do people reccomend for smoothing down the texture on the door pockets/lower door cards??? I tried for about 2 hours using 250 grit and it didnt seem to make a difference. Any other ideas?
4)How do you remove paint and lacquer efficiently? it cant be just a simple white spirit job. The center console was sprayed a different shade of silver and I want it to match so I'll need to take the lacquer and paint off...
5)Has anyone attempted re-spraying the whole dash (i.e. up to the glass of the windscreen?) Can it be done without removing the windscreen? is there a guide? any pics? Would really like to give it a go..
Thanks.

To do a decent job at spraying any interior parts, you should really remove them first. As for sprayin the dash, you have to take it all out, as Cheekycorsa has done.
