buff it up tae red again take it tae a bodyshop shood dae aa buff all over for no too much but it will jus fade agen because its 2k topcoat ye get the same colour on hondas in 1k basecoat n it doesnt fade because of the laquer over the basecoat but if u get it buffed bak to a good red then regular polishin will keep it red-ish lol

get some rubbing compound and do that first. some people polish it then wax it. blehhhh to much work so i just wax it after compound. seems to work.

my car needs a complete respray anyways scratched all over it when ya look closely.

just any normal rubbing compound

then Meguir's no 8 realise wax..... my brother is a laminator(makes boats) and i thought he was talking through his recktum when he said that this stuff will make the colour come back cos the car was pink(was left under a tree for six months before i bought it). so it didnt cost me a penny although a tinn of this stuff is about £25 but i'm not exageratiing when i say that a tin of this stuff would last 3 years.

all done by hand no buffer used. took about an hour to do the whole lot with the 2 of us doing it.

great thing is that when ya wash it the car will come back up the same for about 4 months of washing before ya need to redoo it.

I semi agree.

BUT... You will find if red is lacquered when it looses its colour you can't polish it back up to red again because all you are going it polishing the lacquer rather than the actual red pigments.

I like flame red because you are polishing the base coat, and it gives a great shine when done properly, meguirs is what you want to use too

If the car is in a real bad state, it'll need a machine polish with a sortish sponge and G3, followed my a hand glaze, and then a full meguirs treatment.

Mine was dull when i bought it..... use T-cut to restore the colour!

Put a colour fast red ontop to give extra kick!

then meguilars wax on that took a day of polishing but the change was excellent, and now just was atleast once a week and meguilars polish/wax once a month!
