Lookin to get this done when i get the car back from bodyshop. Just a few things i wanted to ask before i go ahead with it...
1. What are the current laws to do with them?
2. My front speakers scratch the windows when all the way down, will this scratch the tint off??
Anyone got any pics and how much %% u did it by?

right. u can have as dark as u like on the back, the front u CAN NOT have anything!

You can have tints onthe front windows as long as they let the legal amount of light in

Even the cars that come out of the factory only have 30% front tints at most (ie, 70% of light thru) don't they?

You can't put anything on windows in front of the B-pillar. The law changed in January and the police are starting to catch up with it!
Factory standard tinted glass is the only thing allowed this far forward. Behind the b-pillar you can tint to your hearts content.
You can't spray anything onto the glass, it's just a film. Although factory installed rear tints are painted on rather than film. This is not an aftermarket practice.
My friend owns his own tint shop, which is where I find my info from as it's his business and livelihood, he know's what he's allowed to do without being prosecuted, because if he tints the front side windows, he can be charged for this!!!!
