the c16xe is considered the better engine out the early gsi, both good engines tho and not much to pic kbetween them when u think that a x16xe will have low milage in mpost cases

Thanks guys
I can't think of anywhere that I can get one and ALL the kit from - I'd kill for one too, but don't know enough to be confident to get one myself.

lee mitchell or beardy will do it, the engines are hard to come by so ya gotta supply ya own, probably £300-400 to fit it
Im from leicestershite dude where bouts you from matey, i might be able to do it depending on what engine ya got now and if ya got a garage

Hi Greasemonkey,
I have a 1.2 16v in a 1999 Corsa with imobiliser.
Sourcing the engine is definitely the hardest bit.
I'm in West Leicestershire out near Market Bosworth. I have a double garage which we could work in, but I know nothing about engines myself!
I'd happily pay you £400 to do it; the only reservation I have is the sheer scale of the job and the potential for it all to go wrong and leave me with a broken car - but the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward I guess
Now where can I get a 1.6 16v low milage engine from? Didn'y two people on here say there selling theirs soon? what did I hear about 130BHP?
