Any of you chaps painted your rear brake drums ?
I'd like to paint mine black, don't wish to spray them.
Can anyone suggest a paint manufacturer ?
Many thanks

Use the brush-on stuff as opposed to spray cans.

is it worth getting hammerite though....how long will it last???

good thing with hammerite you can just spray/paint straight onto the drums and calipers without al that long preperation of sanding!!

Just give it a good wire brushing if there's like loads of rust there, then paint on. Once painted on, give it at least 24 hours to dry, despite what the can says. The drums get quite warm, and if the paint isn't fully dry it will start peeling off. You can get high temp stuff too, but you should be ok with the normal stuff for drums
