Whats the most daft insurance quote you have ever had, I am 19 years old and have been driving for a year and 4 months, for me and my bodkitted corsa i was quoted from Virgin Insurance for fully comp insurance with a £900 EXCESS! the full quote was £2,700!!! And they thought i would call back!! :lol

£172 fully comp, at 18years old with no NCD on a Mk2 RS 1800 Escort! Yip one hundred and seventy two! even got a letter through the door confirming it! a few days later i got another one sayig they "would be unable to provide cover at this time" Ha Ha

4k on a 2.0 16v corsa. 4 yrs no claims, garage, cat 1 etc. Had a go at them for wasting 10 mins of my life

worst i got was £1600 with vauxhall insurance on a 1 litre with 2 years ncb.
now pay £600 with liverpool victoria.

£7500 on a 97 m3 evo (elephant.co.uk) lol got it for £2800 in the end (company insurance)

so which companies are good? im 19, 1.5 years driving, 2 accidents 1 claim, 1.2 sxi with mods.....best is £2200 under my mums name it will be about £1200

im with adrian flux and my current policy for 1.4 16V sport with exhaust, induction kit, exterior changes (any aslong as i have pics and receipts), wheels, ICE upto £750, suspension is £789 i have 2NCB and am 20 driving for 2 years 3 months.
For extra £55 a year they are letting me put in a 1.6Sport engine with inlet manifold, chip, exhaust manifold and induction kit

Tesco wanted £2800 to insure me on a Corsa 1.4LS, 2yr NCB, no points, no mods...

Currently getting quotes around the 1k mark now for a GSi with 0NCB & 3 points @ 23yrs old...

everyone says tesco is bad and pruff is on this thread, but mines 410 with tesco all mods declared(bodykit,suspension,wheels,250 worth of ice)1.2 8v 4yearsncb 23year old, which dont seem too bad, but then again adrian flux quoted 850 inc 2.0l on top, hmm who will i buy my insureance from next



(ps tesco wont quote me 2.0l!!!)

Yea for a 23 year old... if i had a few million might even go for it lol... would be useful knowledge when hagglein for the price on the car... quote was based on a used 02 360 with 9k on the clock valued at 90k
