I have a slight problem...Engine management light is constantly on & car is jerky.
For those with 16v cud someone tell me how far the spring is supposed to follow from the idle control valve to keep up with that erm thingie if u push the throttle cable forward so it revs?.
Mine moves about a milimeter...
is there a solinoid or something in the valve which pushes the spring out to keep the idle steady because my car at idle is bouncy

Richie has said I need to replace this part



but wat is it?

my friggin idle is 'bouncy' too.. kinda judders every other second.. t'is ghey
