am thinking of smoothing my scuttle pannel myself. has anyone done this how can tell he how they did it.
i know u need to fiberglass the back of the little holes and then lots of filler on top, but...
would it be easier to cut out the little holes if u get what i mean

do you want it flush to the top, or just smooth?
your right in saying you need to fibo the back to start, make sure u push it right in the hole so it sticks properly. if your flushing it to the top, continue to do this with fibreglass, not filler.

i just smooted the holes at the front of the scuttle...gives the effect the bonnet is extended further...used fibreglass underneath and filler onto and a black and decker mouse and wet and dry paper...came up superb..sorry no pics though...i found a link to the pics i used for rrefernce...
