Currently having a 5-door have the option of having six speakers. Front door, rear door, and parcel shelf.
Currently using the fronts and parcel shelf and its not too bad. What difference will a 2 channel amp make for the 6x9's in the back? Or should I also amp the front 6x8's
Will be getting 17cm ones for the rear doors. But what to amp? All of them or just the back ones

all depends on the rating of the speekers and the output on the head unit. most ppl amp the rear speakers but if your front speekers are of a high wattage then it might be worth amping them, also how many output/phono lead conections is there at the back of the head unit?

Well will need to upgrade the h/u cos its only aux output at the moment - dont think its a pre-out.
Speakers are rated highly also, 180w

ive got 2 6x9s amped up in the parcel shelf then a sub in the boot and it sounds pretty cool, im sure it could sound better and im doing something wrong but to me it sounds good so id say having the 6 speakers and amp up the 6x9s is a good thing!

if ur gonna do this....I'd amp ur front speakers more than anything.
if ur using a 4 channel amp then might aswell amp the 6x9s off the rear 2.

Need better sound upfront - like components? Has anyone used those sets/pairs of tweeters?
I've seen some Sony jobies, which are small enough ones to fit on the dash or on the a-pillar for £20, are they any good?

right if u want a reasonable set up i wud spend a little cash and get a good set of components for the front doors somthin above £100 and not sony. then get rid of the 6x9s and get a sub and amp for the boot and mayb a set of components for the rear doors. shud sound good.
