i have a set of 195/45/16 tyres and i think my speedo is out as everyone keeps telling me they are doing 5-10mph defference more to keep up. the car is a 1.2 8v and i have changed the speedo to a sri one as so i have a rev gauge, wot could be the problem and how can i sort it.

1.2 8v... 4 gears??
if so, will also be down to the different ratios in the box. you'd be best getting an F13 gearbox from an SRi & fitting that to get teh speedo a bit closer...

could replacing the speedo cable work, as i did pull it alot when changin dials

If your tyres are a different size, you'll have a different rolling radius, so your speedo will seem out. Get it re-calibrated.
