just been 2 garage with my 1.0ltr 12v makes diesel sound when warm, they said its not the tappets, but thet think its the water pump, as the noise is coming from there. how much is one of these, i hope it isnt anything too major

between £25/50 for a waterpump but to fix it will cost around £100 or more ( maybe cheaper) i had mine done and my timingbelt and it cost £200

I had a rattle in the same area ended up being the timing chain. Thank god for warrantee.
