Are they any good, i'm after a loud exhaust and was thinkin about the 4inch jap style. Do they roar?

on my old car which was a 1.2 corsa i have a 3.5 inch rage BB, yer it was a nice sounding BB and make my car sound alot faster that it was!! i would imagine that the jap style BB would roar, my mate had a jap style BB on his civic and it sounds nuts.

yes rage are very loud. different tailpipes wont make any difference to the sound if there the same size box

Yeah I’ve got a 1.6 sport myself, I’ve actually got a full janspeed system at the moment but it sounds well shit, the bacbox is tiny, so I was gonna but a rage one on so it roars haha, are they good then lads. I reckon I’ll get a rage then, does everyone recommend a rage for being the loudest. Cheers lads.

Why do you want the loadest? Rage is shit. There universal fit so will be a bodge fit unless cut welded by exhaust company.

I STILL dont understand WHY people want loud exhausts... Why not stick a siren and flashing lights on your car with some large stickers which say A.D.D anonymous??
I hate loud exhasts, one of the downsides of a 'performance' system is loudness but I'd never want an exhaust just for its loudness.
IMO rage universal cans should go in the bin allong with neons, washerjets, Vauxhall sunstrips and spinner wheel trims...

I agree, Rage exhausts are for neds/chavs, why you would want to replace a Janspeed (which fit really well) with a Rage back box is totally beyond me, subtle is the new way forward

i am more than happy with the sound of my janspeed system car gives of a nice tuned but no to loud note.

I have a rage bb with slash cut tails pipes, the are loud once the silencer is removed

 How old is this post, i have now learned that rage bacboxes produce the ultimate in boy racer sound
and i wouldn't have one if i was given one for free
