Folks,
any idea if its possible to get struts that will lift the bootlid (by themselves) when i unlock the boot?
which cars have em?
ideally they would need to fit the existing mounting points for my corsa...
any ideas?
Thnx

oh yeh - 1 more thing
some1 suggested simply turning the existing struts upside down... thus creating a lift from the bottom than at the top.... (make sense?)
think this would werk?
Cheers!

i have got some uprated lifters, chrome ones like the bonnet lifters. fitted with a remote solnoid they would lift the boot on there own, but probably end up ripping the hinge off! lol
give custom crazy a call, the stock electronic "actuators" which work like a lifter but are controlled......

nah, bonnet struts are piddly compared to tailgate struts.
think about how much heavier the boot is with massive piece of glass, wiper motor, lock mech etc.
