"-60mm" springs are based on guesswork.
If you wanted an exact -60mm drop on whatever model/spec Corsa you've got, you'll need coilovers to set the height.

ok, but will the bumpstops cause it not to drop enuff? if i remeber right the suspension bits i nicked to build the struts up were off a 1.4 ls or something, the ones from my SRi looked shorter ?

could be worse this is what my car looked like when i had apex -40mm springs
whats does -60 mean anyways? 60mm less from the front bumper to the road or the spring is 60mm smaller...?

60mm less than standard ride height, so i guess its 60mm closer to the road yes
/\ Apex makes me laugh, thats why i had apex shox with G-max springs, the apex only stayed on car 1 week before i ditched them for G-max as the car sat higher than before on Apex springs!!!!!

Just have a good luck under the car with a torch if possible when its sat to see if its sat on the bumpstops. ONLY true way to work out where it bottoms on bumpstops is to fit the suspension without springs.
If yours is an inch higher than welshdudes then I'd say it ISNT the bumpstops, just push it down on the front to see if it compresses much that will tell you if its sat on the stops, it will also drive like a pig if its sat on the bumpstops.
Shortening is not really the answer as it lessens the protection you have against hard impacts and will cause CD skip and possible chassis/suspension damage over time. The proper answer is to fit shorter dampers or the best soloution would honestly be coilovers...
