did u get the bottom half of the inlet manifold with it? if so, that will fit your engine. just fit your wiring loom and injectors. if you have an egr valve (which u probably do) this wont fit onto the lower part of the c16xe manifold. u will have to blank it off and mount it somewhere in ur engine bay. you will then have to connect up all the vaccum pipes, extend the wiring loom to the other end of the engine bay, connect the brake servo vaccum, and lots of other fiddly jobs. if u send me ur e-mail address ill send u a fitting guide for a mantzel box.

From th epics I've seen of it, it wont fit straight on to the lower manifold of the X14XE, as the C16XE manifold only has two bolts to hold it on, ther x14XE has 5. this means you'll need to drill more holes. You can ignore the AMM problem, just don't fit it, but you'll need to put a vacum line on for the MAP sensor.

ah, does the c16xe not have a MAP sensor?
where would the pipe need to be fitted to?

No the c16XE has an AFM instead of a MAP sensor. you'd need to pulmb it in on the back of the manifold, near the line for the servo

is that not what the small pipe is for on the back of the manifold?
if u press the link and look at the 2nd pic. it is on the right hand side at the bottom of the top half of the manifold.

is the map sensor above the amm pipe connector? (held on by nut)
can i just weld or tap a fitting onto the manifold?
where would it have to go?

Interesting mod - I assume this works out cheaper than Mantzel box if you can locate the right bits?

im trying to sort out the the vacume pipes.
on the standard manifold there is a nut holding one of the pipes on.
does anyone know the size of the fitting it is screwed onto which is screwed into the manifold? it looks like 3/8.
and does it matter where on the back of the new manifold where i tap it in?

can anyone tell me what all the vacume hoses going to the top half of the manifold are for? do they all need to be fitted?
and for the wiring to the throttle body. how can i extend the wires? will they not reach the way they are?
