Hi there,
Firstly hello everyone
Im having a problem in the mornings with my Corsa 1.4 16V (60kMiles), it had starting spluttering in the morning and sounds/feels as if somthing is blocked. When you put your foot down the engine makes a broken spluttering noise instead of a constant one and needs to be driven at high revs to stop it stalling when reversing out of my drive. After driving a mile or two it seems to be fine. i took it for a full service at an AA/Nationwide garage and it had stopped doing it for a week, now has started again.
Was wondering if anyone could help with any suggestions as the garage cant find anything wrong.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks greasemonkey quick reply! If I take my car back to the garage and ask them to check these are they likely to be expensive?
thanks

could easily be damp in the ignition system, stick some wd-40 down the spark plug holes and in the ends of the leads

i reckon it could be damp, you're not driving long enough distances and warming the engine up enough.

choke and carb cleaner perhaps? spray in to air intake removes grease and varnish!

this could actually be a catalytic converter problem. if the cat collapses or partially collapses it can make the car hard to start to seem hesitant. Ive seen it a few times and eventually a good boot sorts it out.
