has anyone removed the bump strips on a white corsa b?
im thinking about doing this but not heard anyone do it on a white one! im getting my car colour coded today, plastic bits between the bumpers and the arches and i dont want a horrible plastic bump strips!!!
people were complining about having white marks left so will the while corsa be the best for doing this?
a few questions:
1. is it safe to use white spirit on the car body??
2. in the tutorials it says use a heat gun, how hot can you go before you will damage the paint?
3. is there anythink i shouldnt use on the body of the car?
cheers!

My Sport had stripes removed, no probs.
Don't use white spirit, petrol if you must although wax first.
You'll know when its hot enough, the glue melts. Don't go too mad.

Hi, this is just a thought but...who not get a tin of matched paint from somewhere like halfords perhaps, and use an airbrush to lay down a few coats, being careful to cover/remove any bits you dont want painted? just something i've thought of doing myself a few times...
Pete.
