Rears off the cav are 270mm i believe, then you'd need v6 fronts or at least fancy discs and pads on a 2.0 16v setup at the front

do the fronts not have to be bigger than the rears to prevent the rear locking etc?
what i want to know is the maz disc size i can fit behind 14 inch rims then... what size i could safely put on the rears?
OR will i have to change my rims?

surely sticking discs on the back and sticking with say 236 solids at the front would be fun to say the least

that wasnt very clear refering to this bit -

'or at least fancy discs and pads on a 2.0 16v setup at the front '

i meant the standard disks and pads from the 256mm 2 litre setup would be fine

It makes sense to have bigger disks on the front, simply because the fronts work much harder.
