Just had my 1.0 12v converted to a 1.4 16v and car keeps stalling at junctions etc. Been told i need to join a wire from the red/blue wire in the gearbox speed sensor to the red/blue wire in the ecu but everytime i do this i just get the immobiliser light flashing. As soon as i disconnect the wire the immobiliser light doesnt flash.

Please help

Sounds weird mate, the wire should already run from ecu to dash clocks

mine has a red/blue wire connected to the clocks, red/blue wire connected to the gearbox and a red/blue wire going into the ecu but apparantly with my clocks being electronic i need to join a wire to the re/blue wire in the ecu to tell the ecu that the car is actually doing some speed, otherwise it will just cut out
