1. From experience what brand springs would you recommend?
2. This might be a stupid question! Is ET49 an easy fit?

Cheers.

i've got bilstein springs and shocks, it's lovely!

also got 17's with et49 on a 40mm drop, no rubbing on 5 passengers and a boot full!

with G-max the ride is quite harsh in the back but it corners pretty good, the price reflects them quite well, they do the job to a decent degree but as they say, you get what you pay for

if you can afford the extra then go for coilovers but if you only have 200 ish then gmax would suit you fine

My bro and a couple of my mates have only bought springs and have been running on them for a while now, no probs. Should i be buying a full kit or will springs on there own do??

springs on there own will eventually distroy the dampers due to being to hard. this could cost you your car or even your life. get a full setup.

Ok cheers mate. My bro is convinced springs are only for the purpose of lowering cars and full kits are just designed to compliment the springs and give an optimum ride. Guy at work bought just a spring kit and brand new standard shocks, hes been runnin on them for about a year now no problems??

My budget is kind of limited, am i putting myself at risk runnin on just springs or is it just a cheaper less effective option?
