just bought a CDR500 for my astra, and i've fitted it but it come up with 'Safe' on the Display, does this mean it is locked as it won't let me enter the code, is there something special you need to do, cheers

you will need the unique code to unlock it. either contact the person you got it from. Or take it to vauxhall and they can unlock it. (may not do it if its not in the origonal car though  )

if you have incorrectly put the code in it will say it 10 mins for each try so you have to wait "go for a drive"

hold as then switch on the radio it shud show u a screen like this.. _ _ _ _ use 1 to 4 to enter the code then press as wen uve finished
