i'm trying to re-wire the starter loom back onto the new engine, theres a wire coming straight from the negative battery terminal, does this go onto the alternator or the starter motor? if its the starter motor, which connector does it go onto?

it goes were the starter actualy bolts to the engine

oh i see, can i bolt it onto either of the two bolts holding it?
