Yeah someone asked for help, then when we started talking about wobbly lines and straight lines, he deleted the thread.

Simpsons rule you can only have odd numbers for the equation, so my question is what do you do with the number you have to ad on in this instance y13 ? because ive been provided y1-y12 i need to add y13 to make it odd but what do i do with it ?
Area= strip width /3 ( F+ 4E+2Q)
strip width = 3.1
3.1/3 (sum of first + last ordinates + 4 + sum of even ordinates + 2 + sum of odd ordinates)
Ordinates are
y1= 30.90
y2= 31.13
y3= 31.35
y4= 32.29
y5= 32.30
y6= 32.40
y7= 33.81
y8= 34.12
y9= 35.59
y10= 36.53
y11= 37.55
y12= 38.72
y13= is this equally to 0 ?

John you need the polynomial if you want to work out other points on the line.

Just plotted this in Excel, strange curve as its got a minor periodic increment, but no points after 12 won't be zero!
