Anybody else had probs with the stanard Corsa support frame witch you bolt the single Wiper Mech Snapping?

Yeah this happened to me
its cos it is set up wrong an is putting alot of strain on the end of the original mechanism
there are 2 possible ways for the mechanism to be set up
the proper way is for the wiper to be at the bottom of the passenger window and for it to do a complete sweep left to right then back, the nut which you tighten on the motor is awkward to fasten as the mechanism doubles back on itself an you need to use a small spanner to tighten the nut
when ev erything is set up test the wiper whilst you can see the mechanisn ie scuttle still removed
if the mechanism looks like it is moving then it needs adjusting slightly this movement is what weakens the original mechanism and eventually snaps it
