i got a 1.4 8v would any throttle bodie say off a 2.0l corsa fit ? how much bhp gain would it be fitting new throttle bodies ?

the whole throttle bodies from a bigger size engine car ? is it possible has it been done ? or do i have to buy it from a shop, lol

i no this is a different engine im talkin about, but on the rover k series 1.4, when you fit the 1.6, 1.8 or 2.0 throttle body to it it makes it go a lot better, so why doesnt this apply to the vauxhall???

the inlet after the throttle body is the most restrictive part of the air inlet system, so having a bigger throttle body before that wont help

it probably would i reckon, but that engine is fairly low powered, so you might not notice much, and to prove it either way would cost two lots of power runs at a dyno, so iro £80 plus the body.

its generally the 52mm or 56mm TB's that make a difference, the main reason people do it is because the plastic TB that alot of the rovers have, tend to warp and stick, they improve throttle response, but Don't really add a whole lot of power.
