The pin on my laptop that the powercord plugs into (that make sense?) has fallen out. Ive opened it up and it looks like the plastic that kept it in has perished, so its come loose.
If I take this to a computer place would they be able to fix this before I was my time going round and asking?

only a specialist place would be able to do it really, someone who knew exactly what they were doing and they'd quite possibly charge the earth for it, is it not still under warranty?

Is this the power pack? If so you may be able to pick up a generic on.
