its an easy job if you want to use the standard switch you need a latching relay rather than a standard relay
this from a post i put on another site........
All a relay does is act like a switch it use a low current to switch a higher current device in your case the fog lights are the high current device
so what i can make of how you have wired it you have live feed (hopefully its fused) from the battery that goes to the relay then on the other side of the relay goes to the lights and then the lights goto ground or negitive ????
so all you need todo is wire the coil side of the relay something like this -- 12v live feed (fused) to the switch then to the relay then then other side of the relay to ground or negtive
With it wired like this the when you turn the switch on the relay will click in and turn the lights on
To wire the vx switch in makes it a bit more complicated as you will need a latching relay to make it work as the vx switch is a momentary switch (only makes contact when you press it)
Its all ways a good idea to pick up the 12v+ supply (for the coil side of the relay) from an ignition supply (switched live) so when you turn the ignition off the fogs turn off

I would but they seem to be hard to come by in scrappies round here
Be good if I could just go to Vauxhall and buy the loom
Actually suppose I could just watch for anyone breaking a Corsa GSi on here but then I'd have to make sure they sent me all the relevant bits

if you wanna use a vaux switch you need the mu;ti plug from behind it, get that and the bits that plug into the fogs and build your own loom up... its easy enough
