I managed to get them to give me a Nokia 8800 for free as an upgrade in August. It was 2 1/2 months before it was actually due but they gave me it anyway after I fed them a load of crap about moving abroad.
So anyway, I renewed in August on a 12 month contract.
Was showing one of our new starters around today & as an example I put in my details on the O2 system & loaded up my details. According to them I was due an upgrade & was entitled to discount too  
So I rang them up (cancelations dept) & asked when my cotract expired &after putting me on hold a few times he told me August 2006  So they knew I had upgraded.
But.
I then told him that I had just been into a store & they'd checked their system & I was eligable to upgrade. He insisted that it was nonsense & that the system wouldn't allow it & if they rang up it'd decline the application. I asked why my upgrade didn't show on the system the shop uses & he said that mine was processed on a differant system. Those details shouldnt still be on there. Fair enough.
So then I went onto our system & the upgrade went through fine 
Thanks O2 Upgrades after 4 months, now that is customer service 
Got myself a K750i  And since Im now on a diff system it wont affect my account at all

i phoned them up at lunch and said three could offer 1000 txts and 300 mins for £30 a month and she said i should check because it will be an 18 month contract so they cant look at matching it.
I've checked and its a 12 month contract.
Do you think they will try and match it?

Already got a W800, dont like Motorola's, D600 is crap & Nokia dont have much to offer these days.
Plus our store isn't exactly the cheapest for upgrades. That one was free so fuck it Wanted to do it before they clicked on

he gave me 100 texts free and then a 200 text bundle for £9 but droped my line rental by a tenner
