If possible Id go for the throttle body kit rather than just the inlet manifold.

Replaces top half of inlet

just like a Lexmaul/Mantzel etc. Less restrictive inlet, although I doubt you'd see 22bhp more just from fitting that...

Ah right, no TB's yet!
Id say throttle body with a pair of cams would do the trick!

22bhp increase, from an inlet, on a 1.4? doubtful...

I wouldn't bother mod a 1.4 a minimum of 1.6 at least would be a good tuning base..

Wuuld say that if you were going to spend about £700 on an inlet manifold then you should just go for a throttle body set up. They are universal, the only thing you need to fabricate is a suitable manfold for them to fit to.

I had mine RR before and after fitting the dbilas, 100 Bhp before, 123 Bhp after. However it obviously was down on power standard.

Iv got a late corsa gsi (x16xe) Was RR @115bhp with air filter and exhaust including de-cat. Had Dblias manifold fitted and was RR @137bhp. A uni chip was added after that and was set up to 147bhp with power pulling all the way to rev limiter.
Manifold was £450, not too hard to fit DIY

Keith,
That's a bit pricey, you can get a new mantzel direct from Germany for £520 delivered.
Takes around 1 week from date of order.

Look for an engineering company and say "Hello there sir, could you modify this inlet manifold here so that I can attatch these here throttle bodys here".
