Guys ive got the standard central lockin with the key,
Is it possible to mod this system to be a remote central locking system or is it a case of buying a new kit?

got mine changed to remote and got alarm and imobliser for 120 fitted

you should be able to buy the remote control and the control unit and then just with a test light match the wires up mine works fine

you could but its not so safe as it doesn't reprogram the code everytime you lock the car so like older cars with remote locking which makes them very easy to steal if someone captures the beam say with a learning device of some sort

so if you are driving a ferrari but a proper alarm but if its a skoda dont worry to much
