My speedo and mile counter dont work and the car cuts out occassionally when stopping any ideas ???

Speedo cable snapped.... you'll have the orange light on the dash too i'd expect

cigarette lighter, is it on?
If not, guess it should be a 20A fuse
rear window heater, reverse too will not work if this is the case

yeh if your speedo cable is not connected/snapped your car will cut out at junctions (mine does :lol
Check its still connected on your gearbox, if it is buy a new one as its no doubt snapped

Check its still connected on your gearbox, if it is buy a new one as its no doubt snapped
my cables on its way out... speedo reads wobbly below 30 mph

my experience:car: corsa b 1.4 sport '00: i blew my cigarette lighter fuse and my reverse light stopped working, my rear window heating, my speedometer and mileage too, my engine kept turning off while driving....how did I fix it:
changed the blown fuse and everything was fine after that. 10 sec job
for corsa as May '97
used TIS 2000 as reference

it will be an electrical speedo... look up the haynes and see what number fuse works the speedo and replace it... it should fix the problem...
