washed the car then drove 5 miles to the farm and the light came in.
stopped the car to take pics, then 10mins later the car didnt start 1st time and wasnt idling normally and light was still on
drove home fine and the light still in then stopped the car
started it again no bother, was fine and the light was off

think its time on the month for the engine ML mine did the same thing running fine but came on still dont know what it was

so you drove it, stopped then it didnt start first time? when it did start, it was idling rough? im willing to say 99% sure thats the coolant temp sensor

what engine?
oh and dont just believe people when they say coolant temp sensor, its something people tend to suggest on corsasport when they dont know what is actually wrong

i obviously do. im not saying it isnt the cts but generally people that try and give advice on any engine problem posted on here blame the cts.

I agree, had to change my cts some 2 weeks ago and didn't have any symptoms described above...
So it seems to NOT start when engine is hot if I understand well...?

yes you could say that, but we drove there (5miles) stopped then started to shift it for taking pics THEN it sat for 10mins and wouildnt start then drove home again and stopped it then started it again no problem

Next time the EML comes on take it to a garage for diagnostics or do a paper clip test your self.
