Hi, Sorry to post another joystick thread (there seem to be a few!) Just wondering if the W800i has the same joystick as the K750i? I know it has a different coloured end  I have a W800 and dropped it in a drink  It broke the microphone and then the local phone repaire centre broke it even more!  I like it though so am going to buy a new one, I don't really use the walkman thing and am not a fan of the white and orange so was thinking about getting a K750i instead (and saving £50) I've never had any problems with the joystick on my w800 but have read loads about k750i's being problematic on here. Are they the same joystick or is the K750i not as good?

Either way a lot of people don't bother to clean them. Cotton bud/air can every now and then and your laughin. Mine has not been a problem once in 8 months.

When you buy a joystick they are often stated as fitting 800i/k750i/d750/k700/t610/t630 so they must be the same item.
Ive replaced a few and in all honestly because they are pretty much a sealed unit I cant dust being the cause of the problems. I think they just wear out, for a small device they take a lot of abuse.
Im Just about to fit this one to my mates phone as his is playing up.
